COLUMBIA, Ky. (01/13/2026) — A Monroe County resident has a leadership position this school year at Lindsey Wilson University.
Jack Holland '28 of Gamaliel, Kentucky, is vice president of the Lindsey Wilson sophomore class and a member of the Lindsey Wilson Student Government Association. Holland is a Christian ministries and political science double major.
The Lindsey Wilson Student Government Association is responsible for coordinating student clubs and organizations, student development, and student leadership. In addition to serving as a voice for student concerns and needs, the Lindsey Wilson Student Government Association assists with planning, promoting and organizing student activities and community service projects.
Lindsey Wilson University is a vibrant liberal arts university in Columbia, Kentucky. Founded in 1903 and affiliated with The United Methodist Church, the mission of Lindsey Wilson is to serve the educational needs of students by providing a living-learning environment within an atmosphere of active caring and Christian concern where every student, every day, learns and grows and feels like a real human being.
