Laurel County Resident is Student Leader at Lindsey Wilson University

COLUMBIA, Ky. (01/13/2026) — A Laurel County resident has a leadership position this school year at Lindsey Wilson University.

Megan Whitson '26 of East Bernstadt, Kentucky, is president of the Lindsey Wilson senior class in the Lindsey Wilson Student Government Association. Whitson is a communication and English double major.

The Lindsey Wilson Student Government Association is responsible for coordinating student clubs and organizations, student development, and student leadership. In addition to serving as a voice for student concerns and needs, the Lindsey Wilson Student Government Association assists with planning, promoting and organizing student activities and community service projects.

Lindsey Wilson University is a vibrant liberal arts university in Columbia, Kentucky.
