Pulaski County Resident Delivers Student Remarks at Lindsey Wilson College Founders' Day Celebration

Paisley Bolin '26 of Somerset discusses how the 'little things' make a big difference.

by Duane Bonifer

COLUMBIA, Ky. (04/25/2025) — A Pulaski County resident was one of two Lindsey Wilson College students who were selected to deliver student remarks at the annual Lindsey Wilson Founders' Day Celebration, held Thursday, April 24, in Roberta D. Cranmer Dining & Conference Center.

Paisley Bolin '26, a business administration major from Somerset, said her three years at Lindsey Wilson have been shaped by "the little things."

"From the very first day, I realized something important -- Lindsey Wilson isn't just a college, it's a home. It's a place where professors know you by name, classmates become lifelong friends, and every challenge is met with compassion and support," said Bolin, who also serves as a Lindsey Wilson peer mentor and an admissions student ambassador. "My experience has been shaped by the little things -- moments of kindness, encouragement and connection that made me feel like I truly belong. Although important, college is more than lectures and textbooks. It's more about finding your voice, taking chances and discovering your purpose. And through every opportunity and connection, Lindsey Wilson has helped me do that."
