COLUMBIA, Ky. (04/07/2025) — The final art exhibition of the 2024-25 school year at Lindsey Wilson College showcases the diversity of ranges and styles of the college's student artists.

The 2025 Student Exhibition is now on display through Aug. 1 in the Lucretia C. Begley Gallery, which is in the college's W.W. Slider Humanities Center. A gallery reception will be held from 10:30 a.m-12:30 p.m on April 16. It is free and open to the public.

The exhibition features 24 pieces of multiple forms of media created by 22 student artists, including a 36-by-82 inch pencil and charcoal piece that involved eight students.

"This final show of the school year is a wonderful way to experience the creativity and talent of Lindsey WIlson's emerging artists," said Lindsey Wilson art instructor Karly Flynn. "It's a dynamic showcase that features a diverse collection of works from our students."

The April 16 reception is billed as "Brunch with the Artists," because light morning snacks will be served while guests are encouraged to have conversations with the artists about their works in the show.

"These students consistently show us in the classroom how talented they are, and this show will give not only members of the campus community but also members of Columbia-Adair County the opportunity to meet some wonderful and interesting emerging artists," said Flynn.
