COLUMBIA, Ky. (01/13/2026) — A Whitley County resident has a leadership position this school year at Lindsey Wilson University.
Zachariah Lawson '26 of Williamsburg, Kentucky, is president of the Lindsey Wilson Student Government Association. He also serves as the student representative on the Lindsey Wilson University Board of Trustees. This is Lawson's second term as student government president, which is a student-elected position at Lindsey Wilson. Lawson is an English major with an emphasis in communication and professional writing.
The Lindsey Wilson Student Government Association is responsible for coordinating student clubs and organizations, student development, and student leadership. In addition to serving as a voice for student concerns and needs, the Lindsey Wilson Student Government Association assists with planning, promoting and organizing student activities and community service projects.
